Brooke Nichole Adams (born December 4, 1984) is an American model, dancer, and professional wrestler, currently working for iMPACT Wrestling under the ring name, Brooke Tessmacher. She previously worked for the WWE appearing with Barbie Blank and Layla in the dance group Extreme Exposé on the company’s former ECW brand. She is currently one half of the TNA Knockouts Tag Team, TNT, with Tara.
At age seven, Adams moved from St. Louis to Houston, Texas with her mother and sister. There, she began her career as a model, modeling for various companies such as Hawaiian Tropic & Vertical Smiles. She first became involved in professional wrestling by trying out for the 2006 WWE Diva Search. Despite not making the cut, Adams was chosen to observe workouts in Ohio Valley Wrestling, along with Maryse Ouellet. She made her in-ring debut, a loss to Angel Williams, at a DSW TV taping in December 2006.
On March 29, 2010, Adams made her TNA iMPACT debut in a backstage segment as Eric Bischoff’s assistant, under the name Miss Tessmacher, named after Lex Luthor’s girlfriend and assistant in the first two Superman movies. On December 25th, Adams suffered a broken jaw in an out–of–the–ring accident and had wires and metal plates put in her jaw as a result. Tessmacher returned to TNA on April 21, 2011, saying that during her time away from TNA she had been training to become the TNA Knockout Champion and that “Miss Tessmacher is back”. On August 4, 2011, Tessmacher got her first singles match victory, defeating Madison Rayne.
Adams was crowned Miss Hawaiian Tropic Texas 2008 on November 8, 2008. In late 2010 she took part in the Hooters Texas Swimsuit Pageant Finals to determine seven Hooters girls who would go on to the 2010 International Hooters Swimsuit Pageant competition. In August 2011, Adams announced that she was the winner of the Hooters’ Viewers’ Choice $10,000 award as advertised on the Hooters Swimsuit Pageant competition. In March of 2011, Brooke was named to Smart Mark Radio’s Top 25 Sexiest Female Wrestlers of All Time list, being ranked #17. With the orange booty-shorts, slouch socks, and Reebok Princess sneakers, you have to admit… when you walk into a Hooters, sometimes you feel as if you’ve stepped into a late eighties aerobics video. But that’s a good thing. We liked late eighties aerobics videos. We also like bikini contests, and Hooters holds their fair share of those too. Curiously enough, in 2011, Brooke Adams, aka Brooke Tessmacher the TNA Knockout, was not only a tag team champion, and was not only named to Smart Mark Radio’s Top 25 Sexiest Female Wrestlers of All Time list, but she also just happens to work at Hooters in Kirby, Texas, and she just kinda, sorta, happened to win their International Swimsuit Pageant Viewers Choice Award as well. That’s quite a year. In fact, she’s made such an impact (no pun intended), everyone has all but forgotten about Lex Luthor’s secretary of the same name, though with a caboose like hers, in all seriousness, we have to wonder how strongly TNA considered giving her the faux-moniker of ‘Assmacher’ instead.
