Candace Bailey (born May 20, 1982) is an American actress known for roles on Nickelodeon, the TV series Jericho, and as of January 2011 as a co-host on Attack of the Show. Bailey is originally from Birmingham, Alabama, but moved to Gulf Breeze, Florida when she was two. She is a graduate of Gulf Breeze High School near Pensacola, Florida, and attended Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. She is also a former Junior Olympic gymnast.
Candace, along with her sister and mother, attended a modeling convention in Florida when she was twelve, where she was chosen to join a modeling company in New York. When Bailey was in college, she went on her first hosting audition for Nickelodeon’s U Pick Live, and ended up with the job. Bailey hosted U-Pick Live from 2002-2005. Later, Bailey moved to Los Angeles, where she was booked on the CBS show, Jericho. Bailey played Skylar Stevens on the CBS series from 2006-08. After Jericho, Bailey realized she missed the hosting aspect of the business, and finally auditioned for the co-host role on Attack Of The Show. Her other TV appearances included Ghost Whisperer, The Sopranos, Robot Chicken, As the World Turns, Slime Time Live, and a co-hosting slot on a kids-focused 2004 Super Bowl pre-game show.
