Elise Novak (born November 22, 1988) is an American athlete from Newport Coast, California who participated as a cheerleader for the University of California Los Angeles between 2007 and 2010, where she majored in economics. Elise is a graduate of Aliso Niguel High School, and she currently resides in Los Angeles, California. She was rumored to be in a relationship with Minnesota Timberwolves player Kevin Love, attending many of his Minnesota games via flight. However, as of January 2011 the relationship was also rumored to be over, in spite of the Bleacher Report listing Elise as one of the most desirable ‘WAG’s’ of NBA Players in February of the same year.
Elise appeared in the 2009 film Spring Breakdown with Amy Poehler, Seth Myers, Jana Kramer, Parker Posey and Jane Lynch as one of nine actresses listed as the Spastic Cheerleader.
Novak was the Sports Illustrated On Campus Cheerleader of the Week June 21st, 2008. She is quoted as saying that her favorite color is pink, her most memorable spirit squad moment is winning 1st place at the USA Nationals in Las Vegas, and her personal motto is “Work hard, Play hard.” Her favorite quote is “Don’t tell me the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon.”
