Jael de Pardo (born February 12) is an on-Air Talent at NBC Universal. When Jael was two, her family moved to Queens, New York where she began modeling with the Ford Modeling Agency at the age of four. An avid artist, designer, and fashionista, Jael attended the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology where she studied Visual Presentation and majored in Exhibit Design. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian.
In 2001, Jael moved to Los Angeles, California, to further her career in modeling and pursue acting. She studied acting with some of the top coaches in the industry including Susan Batson and Janet Alhanti. Jael has since appeared in television and print campaigns for companies such as Levis, Apple, Verizon, Sony, and Nissan. Jael also became a spokesperson for the national anti-tobacco Truth Campaign appearing at venues such as House of Blues, MTV Beach House, and the Warped Tour. In 2004 Jael starred in the critically acclaimed film Subway Cafe, alongside Rick Gonzalez and Crystal Allen.
In 2005, Jael began working for the cable television network, Current TV, the award winning national cable network started by Al Gore. Jael’s diverse skill set – hosting, reporting, acting, singing and writing, accelerated her rise to become the face and voice of the network. She garnered numerous awards for her work on Current TV including the Silver Telly Award and the Bronze Remi. Jael’s fieldwork earned her a spot on the third season of Syfy’s hit paranormal reality series Destination Truth, alongside Josh Gates, where she worked as a field producer and an on camera “researcher” for the Destination Truth crew. Jael participated in a series of investigations documenting myths and legends in places like King Tut’s tomb and the radiation fields of Chernobyl. Currently, she is a team member on Syfy’s reality series, Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files, which premiered in July 2010. Jael also briefly hosted “On The Up”, a lifestyle, culture and art show, broadcast on the Latinio network, SiTV.
Jael has produced and reported from vacation destinations and conflict zones alike, covering everything from fashion to the FARC to the environment. She has produced stories in Colombia, Panama, and Mexico, including a half hour special for the Vanguard journalism unit in the Darien Gap, a dangerous patch of unincorporated jungle that separates central and South America.

Why we think she’s hot:
You might have seen her on the now defunct Current TV, if you actually ever took the time to grab the remote and page down that far on your cable guide, but we think there’s a better chance that, like us, Jael de Pardo first caught your eye on Destination Truth. The De Pardo days were definitely our favorites of the hit SyFy show, as there’s just something about all of Jael’s caliente, Colombian spiciness getting all adventurous that’s a bit of a turn on. But when you’re not off fantasizing about Jael dressed up in Lara Croft gear, if you can find a copy of Subway Cafe, the seventy-one minute short about our evolving world from the perspective of random cafe diners, Jael plays the part of Ambrosia, and you should definitely pick it up. If not, you’ll be glad to know that you can also keep seeing her on SyFy’s Haunted Highway, or Fact Or Faked: Paranormal Files, which really are perfect shows for her, seeing as how her hotness could burn a few crop circles on it’s own.
