Korina Longin was born on December 12, 1982 in Zadar, Croatia. Korina started modeling when she was 13. A family friend suggested that she show her photos to modeling agencies, and at only 11 years old Korina was known throughout the country as a runway model.
She started appearing in the ELLE, Cosmopolitan and Vogue magazines. Being spotted by the famous Victoria’s Secret lingerie firm launched her career even more. The appearance in the Dolce and Gabbana advertisement in 1997 and in the Guess? campaign made her famous all over the world. She appeared on the catwalk of Chanel, Fendi, Kenzo and John Galliano. She has done advertisements for Blumarine, Erreuno, Gianfranco Ferre, Kriziapoi, La Perla, Maybelline, Neiman Marcus, Newport News, Palmer’s Lingerie, Replay, Yves Saint Laurent ‘Live Jazz’ fragrance.
In 2000 she filmed a commercial for the Replay jeans brand and little later in the Max Factor and Bobbi Brown campaigns. In the spring of 2002, she appeared in N-Sync’s “Gone” music video and has a web site dedicated to her. She speaks fluently Croatian, English and Spanish. Korina is married to Fredo Starr.
